Ron Darling announced on Monday afternoon that his thyroid cancer has been “stabilized” and he has been cleared to return to work.  He will rejoin the SNY booth for Tuesday night’s Giants and Mets game at Citi Field.

“My doctors have informed me that my thyroid cancer has been stabilized for now and that I have been cleared to return to work.  I look forward to rejoining my partners Gary and Keith in the SNY booth to call tomorrow night’s Mets vs. San Francisco Giants game at Citi Field.”

Darling stepped away from the booth back in April when he had a mass removed from his chest and received his thyroid cancer diagnosis.

We’re glad he’s doing much better and we’re sure Mets fans have missed his awful broadcasting.
