Jazz center Rudy Gobert was the first known case of coronavirus among professional athletes in the United States.  His diagnosis then shutdown sports across the country.

As you would expect Gobert took a lot of heat for this.  Just days before his diagnosis he was seen taking the virus lightly by touching reporter’s microphones and phones following a press conference.

The fallout includes tension with his teammate Donovan Mitchell, who also contracted the virus presumably from Gobert.

People are still giving him a hard time for shutting down sports.  On a recent video game livestream someone commented, “Thanks for starting the coronavirus in the NBA dumb*ss.”

Instead of keeping it moving and ignoring the comment, Gobert had a NSFW response to the criticism.
