The wheels began turning on Russell Westbrook’s trade to Houston following Paul George’s trade to the Clippers. According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, Westbrook reached out to James Harden about a reunion almost immediately following George’s trade.

As we all know, that trade was made a reality in a blockbuster trade on Thursdsy night that sent Chris Paul packing to the now decimated Thunder.
