It was a heated contest at the Staples Center on Friday, as the Los Angeles Clippers escaped with a hard-fought 122-119 victory against the Houston Rockets.
There was a playoff like atmosphere at Staples, and everyone was going at it.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that Russell Westbrook’s brother, Raynard, actually had to be escorted out of the arena after a post-game confrontation with Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell.
Raynard Westbrook, the younger brother of the Rockets’ star, and Harrell participated in an intense back and forth as both teams were headed to the locker room.
There is no word if his brother will be fined for his involvement in the incident, but we will be sure to pass along any new information as they come.
For his part, however, Harrell downplayed the confrontation, saying that in his mind, it’s just all about the W.
