Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick beat the Patriots on Sunday with his arm. He threw for 320 yards and the game winning touchdown.
The win ended the Patriots hopes for a first round bye in the playoffs. It also gave the Dolphins a two game win streak to end the season and a 5-11 record after a winless start.
Those are all positive things, but more impressive than that, depending on how you look at it, is the fact that Ryan Fitzpatrick finished the season as the Dolphins leading rusher.
At 37-years-old that made him the oldest player to ever lead their team in rushing, breaking Marcus Allen’s record of 36 years and 272 days.
