Drew Brees reignited the NFL’s National Anthem protest debate on Wednesday when he said he still isn’t okay with anyone kneeling for the anthem.  Athletes from just about every sport weighed in on Brees’ comments..

It’s safe to say that he didn’t receive much support.

On Thursday morning Brees apologized for his comments.  Saints linebacker Demario Davis accepted his teammate’s apology on CNN, “For him to admit that he was wrong.  I think that is leadership at its finest.”
