Saints receiver Michael Thomas topped of a 72-yard touchdown catch by pulling off a former Saints receiver’s celebration. And not just any former Saints receiver’s celebration, one of the most famous of all-time.
That’s right, Joe Horn’s cellphone in the goal post celebration. Thomas even had a flip phone for the special occasion.

Sure Thomas was penalized for using a prop during his celebration, but it was well worth it. Just ask Joe Horn, who says he was moved to tears by the gesture.
Ex-Saints WR Joe Horn said he saw Michael Thomas’ honorary TD celebration while working out in Tupelo, Miss. “When I saw him bring out that cellphone it brought a tear to my eye,” Horn said. “For him to pay homage to me in that way, let me know what kind of man Michael Thomas is"

Let’s not forget the Saints won the game 45-35, handing the Rams their first loss of the season too. If you’re going to pull a move like this, you better win the game.
Thomas more than made up for the 15-yards on the penalty. He had 12 catches for 211-yards to go along with his touchdown.
