The Arizona Cardinals announced on Saturday that they have finally released quarterback Sam Bradford.  He had been the team’s third string quarterback since being relieved of the team’s starting duties in Week 4.

Bradford will still receive what is left of his $5 million guaranteed salary, not to mention his $10 million signing bonus and his $300k bonus checks for each of the first three games he played in.

Bradford has managed to fleece another organization out of millions of dollars and deliver almost nothing.  It’s what he’s done since entering the league.

Bradford, who hasn’t played an entire season since 2012, was drafted by the Rams with the number one overall pick back in 2010 and given a $78 million contract with $50 million guaranteed.

The Rams traded Bradford to the Eagles in 2015, where he was given an $18 million contract with an $11 million signing bonus prior to the 2016 season.  Just to be traded out of Philadelphia to the Vikings before the season.

In just two seasons in Minnesota, one of those lost to a knee injury, he made $25 million.  In all Bradford has made over $129 million for very little on the field production.
