Rookie quarterback Sam Darnold signed his 4 year $30.25 million contract with the Jets on Monday. They were finally able to get the language worked out so he could do so.
Darnold later showed up to Jets practice and received a golf clap welcome from his new teammates. The Jets savior is finally here and unlikely to take a snap during at least the first four games of the season.

Good thing they got Darnold locked up for the next four years. That means the franchise is finally saved. Every Jets fan can rejoice and celebrate with their stupid Jets chant. J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets!
