The Saints worked out controversial free agent receiver Antonio Brown this week.
On Friday, Payton said that the Saints were simply evaluating their options at wide receiver.

Payton also admitted that he wasn’t being truthful earlier in the year when he said that he wasn’t interested in adding Brown to his team.
So he basically lied about it to reporters earlier in the season.
