Shaq Donates House to Family of 12-Year-Old Boy Left Paralyzed by Shooting

Shaq is as close to a real life superhero as possible. 

The NBA Hall of Famer is coming through for the family of 12 year old Isaiah Payton, after a stray bullet from a shooting at an Atlanta high school football game left him paralyzed for the chest down.

Because his family lacks handicap-accessible housing, Payton cannot be discharged by the hospital, and when Shaq got wind of the story, he decided to provide the family with a new house.

Shaq will also provide furniture for the house and pay their first year of rent, with assistance from Papa John’s executives Rob Lynch and Jeff Smith.
