Shaquille ONeal is speaking his truth.

The NBA Hall of Famer confessed, once again, that he was the problem while married to his ex-wife #ShaunieHenderson.

As many know, Shaquille O’Neal tied the knot with Shaunie Henderson, formally known as Shaunie O’Neal, in 2002. Five years later, they separated but reconciled shortly after. However, Shaunie Henderson filed for divorce a second time in 2009, and it became official in 2011. In an interview, published today (Nov. 21), The four-time #NBA champion admitted that he failed to be a good husband to his ex-wife Shaunie. Shaquille O’Neal, also known as Shaq, said:

“I was a d*ckh**d.”

The former #MiamiHeat player continued:

“You don’t know how good you got something ’til it’s gone.”

This isn’t the first time the 50-year-old took the blame for the reason(s) he and Shaunie split. Shaq, who shares four children with his ex — Shareef, 22, Amirah, 21, Shaqir, 19, and Me’arah, 16 — previously sat down with hosts from “The Pivot Podcast” and said:

“I was bad. She was awesome. She really was. It was all me.”

Although the sports analyst wasn’t specific about what actions failed their union, he did share that he “wasn’t protecting [Henderson] and protecting those vows.”

He continued:

“It was just all me.”

Shaq added:

“Sometimes, when you make a lot of mistakes like that, you can’t really come back from that.”

O’Neal included that Henderson did everything she could do to have a good marriage including taking care of their four “beautiful kids,” managing the “corporate stuff.
