Shaquille O’Neal was absent from TNT’s “Inside the NBA” on Thursday after the death of his sister, Ayesha Harrison-Jex, who died after a battle with cancer. His 40-year-old sister had been diagnosed with cancer three years ago.
Shaq was in Orlando to be with his family during this difficult time. His “Inside the NBA” co-workers and NBA commissioner Adam Silver all shared heartfelt messages prior to Thursday night’s show.
