Sneak Peek at Pot Smoking, Card Dealing Don Nelson on HBO Real Sports

Here’s a sneak peek of former NBA head coach Don Nelson’s appearance on HBO’s Real Sports.  It takes a look at his life since his coaching days ended back in 2010. 

Nelson’s now really into weed and poker, via HBO:

Following a storied basketball career spanning nearly 50 years, Don Nelson now lives a quieter life. Since retiring from the NBA in 2010, the Boston Celtics forward and legendary head coach spends his days growing and smoking marijuana, playing high-stakes poker with celebrity friends, including musician Willie Nelson, and nurturing a deeper relationship with a daughter learned about long after her birth. Bryant Gumbel conducts a candid sit-down interview with the Hall of Famer.

This is amazing.  We learned very quickly from this clip that we don’t have enough Don Nelson in our life.
