Stanford QB K.J. Costello Left Week 1 Game Early After Taking a Huge Cheap Shot to the Head

Stanford took care of Northwestern on Saturday 17-7.  The Week 1 win took place despite starting quarterback K.J. Costello being knocked out of the game early after taking a cheap shot to the head.

Costello took a huge forearm to the facemask after starting his slide.  The shot knocked his helmet off and sent him into the concussion protocol.
