Stars right winger Brett Ritchie sent Penguins’ Juuso Riikola to the locker room on Wednesday night after a vicious late hit.
The hit bounced Riikola’s head off of the glass and he stayed down on the ice in pain. He was eventually able to skate off the ice under his own power.
The Penguins were on the wrong end of this exchange, but ended up winning the game 5-1. This is one way to get the holiday season started.
