Steelers president Art Rooney II denied former linebacker James Harrison’s claim that he received an envelope from head coach Mike Tomlin after he was fined for a dirty hit. He said of the claims, “I am very certain nothing like this ever happened.”
Rooney’s attempt to get out in front of this let’s you know that he’s worried about the NFL conducting an investigation. It’s hard to believe that he would have any knowledge one way or another.
