Jameis Winston decided to sign a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints this weekend. He’ll have the opportunity to compete for the backup quarterback role behind Drew Brees.
There were reports that Winston turned down a more lucrative offer from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Those reports were false.
According to CBS Sports‘ Jason La Canfora, the Steelers had “zero interest” in signing the former Buccaneers starting quarterback.
