The Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott have been in long-term contract talks for weeks.  The talks have stalled and there were reports that the length of the deal was the issue.

That might not entirely be accurate.  Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones recently admitted that there is another concern holding up getting a deal done.

Dallas is concerned about paying their quarterback too much of a percentage of their salary cap.
