The Nationals went through the whole song and dance of a formal press conference to announce Stephen Strasburg’s new 7-year, $245 million deal. The World Series MVP had his jersey on and answered questions while sitting next to his agent and members of the Nationals front office.
One reporter’s question about the Nationals Big 3 in their pitching rotation (Strasburg, Max Scherzer and Patrick Corbin) induced a little laughter. Mainly because of the way the question was phrased, “Do you have that sense of a threesome?”
