Hours after the Nationals World Series parade, pitcher Stephen Strasburg opted out of the four years and $100 million remaining on his contract.  He could have thrown his last pitch for the only franchise he’s ever known.

The World Series MVP is looking to cash in on his strong season and postseason run.  He was 18-6 with a 3.32 ERA during the regular season and a perfect 5-0 with a 1.98 ERA in the postseason.
