Safety D.J. Swearinger started the 2018 season on the Redskins roster, but was released by the team on December 24 for publicly criticizing the team’s defensive coordinator Greg Manusky. The next day he was claimed by the Texans, where he finished the season.
Swearinger recently told a Redskins fan on Instagram that his team would never win anything with Jay Gruden as the head coach. The comment trashes his former coach for being too soft on his players.

This is just further proof that the Redskins organization is one of the most poorly run in the NFL. You have a former player calling out the head coach because he doesn’t coach his players hard enough.
Football is a tough game. If you can’t coach your players hard, even when they’re begging for it, coaching might not be for you.
