There was a little craziness ahead of the Sugar Bowl between Texas and Georgia when Texas mascot Bevo charged at Georgia mascot Uga the bulldog.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to have the mascots meet should be fired.

Bevo handler Patrick Dowell told ESPN that the longhorn had merely been trying to greet the rival mascot.
Of course the Twitter police were on hand to criticize the plan.
Someone at the Sugar Bowl thought it would be a good idea to take two very different species of live animals and put them in close proximity on a football field without knowing how they would react. That wasn’t smart.

Definitely not smart.
At least a Bald Eagle didn’t attack at this game.
