Texas football made all newcomers get up in front of the team and do something. When it came time for new offensive line coach Herb Hand to do something, he opted to rap an old school hit by Eric B. & Rakim.
The performance started off a little slow, but coach Hand had the room jumping by the end and the mic drop at the End was the cherry on top. The mic drop might have just saved the program.
Having a coach grab a mic and spit some old school rhymes is exactly how you turn a program around. How do you not bust your ass for a guy who puts on a performance like that?
