According to Joe Reinagel of KENS 5 Texas Tech has fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The news comes after the Red Raiders loss to Baylor on Saturday.
The loss was Texas Tech’s fifth straight as they finished the season with a subpar 5-7 record.

The 39-year-old went 35-40 during his six seasons as the head coach at Texas Tech. Prior to that Kingsbury was a quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator with Houston and Texas A&M.
Odds are that Kingsbury lands on his feet somewhere as an offensive coordinator.
