The load management battle between the Clippers and the NBA has resulted in a fine being handed down by the league.  On Thursday evening it was reported that NBA fined the Clippers $50,000 for statements that were inconsistent with Kawhi Leonard’s health status.

The inconsistent statements regarding Kawhi came from head coach Doc Rivers.  He said prior to Wednesday night’s game against the Bucks that Kawhi had never felt better.

The Clippers statement on their star’s load management is that an ongoing injury to the patella tendon in his left knee makes playing back-to-back games impossible for him to do.  Obviously those two statements don’t match.
