The Chicago Cubs are known for having some of the biggest names sing “Take Me Out of the Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch.
On Thursday afternoon they hit a new low. For some reason they had the Cookie Monster in the booth at Wrigley Field to sing.

No wonder baseball is having a hard time attracting new fans. They’re pretending having characters from a children’s tv show sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” is awesome.
More netting and bubble wrap for everyone! We don’t want anyone to ever get hurt doing anything.
