According to ESPN, the Dallas Cowboys are interested in trading for Oakland Raiders receiver Amari Cooper. Oakland is reportedly seeking a first round draft pick in exchange for the former first round pick.
The Cowboys have been calling around to people who know the 24-year-old Cooper, gathering as much information as they can about him as they mull whether to make a move for the former first-round draft selection, according to sources.
ESPN is also reporting that there are other teams interested in the talented 24-year-old.
The Cowboys are not alone; the Raiders have heard inquiries on Cooper from, among others, the Washington Redskinsand Indianapolis Colts, according to a league source.
The press conferences with Jon Gruden wondering why they can’t find anyone to throw the ball to after they trade Cooper are going to be amazing.
