We told you earlier today that there was no need for the Cowboys to fire head coach Jason Garrett, although we wouldn’t put it past Jerry Jones, because his contract expires on Wednesday.

Jones is expected to let Garrett know on Monday that he doesn’t plan on bringing him back.  There are also reports that the entire coaching staff could be fired as a result of missing out on the playoffs.

WFAA’s Mike Leslie caused some commotion on Twitter when he reported that the entire coaching staff had been fired.  He later walked that back by saying that it hadn’t happened yet, but could be soon.
