Every year, more than 30 clubs vie for a spot in the Final Four. To qualify, teams compete during the regular season in various groups such as Group A or Group B, and then move on to playoffs. In each round, teams must win at least two out of three games in order to advance to the next stage. At the end of these stages, four teams will have earned a place in the Final Four tournament.

The current season (2022/23) will feature two groups, each with eight teams competing against each other in a round-robin format This season, 20 men’s and 16 women’s teams from all over Europe will take part in this exciting competition. With teams from Austria, Denmark, Germany, France, and more, it is sure to be one of the most competitive handball championships in recent years.
