The blockbuster trade between the Dodgers, Red Sox and Twins fell apart after Boston became concerned with the medical review of one of the prospects they were going to recieve in the deal.

The trade that was agreed upon would send Red Sox players Mookie Betts and David Price to the Dodgers.  The Red Sox would receive Dodgers outfielder Alex Verdugo and Twins prospect Brusdar Graterol.  The Dodgers would then send starting pitcher Kenta Maeda to Minnesota.

The deal fell apart over concerns with the medical review for the 21-year-old pitcher Graterol, who has been injured multiple times in the past.
