The Wonderlic scores of the 2019 quarterback draft class have been leaked and the results are interesting.  The lowest score of the top QB prospects was that of Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray.

The former Oklahoma star might be able to overcome the concerns about his size, but his size combined with his low Wonderlic score might have dropped him from the top of the draft board.

According to CBS’ Pete Prisco, the Cardinals are no longer going to draft Kyler Murray.

“The ownership pushed for Kyler Murray. That much I know; I was told that,” Prisco said on CBS Sports HQ. “And the reason they did is they were having a hard time selling tickets. Well they put it out there and Arizona was lukewarm to it. So now all of a sudden, they’re pulling back, from what I’ve been told.

“They’re going to go in a different direction. They’re not going to draft Kyler Murray.”

Is it possible Murray’s low Wonderlic score played a part in the Cardinals decision to go in a different direction?  That seems a little more likely than low ticket sales.
