It looks like the Raiders had a pretty good feel for the New England Patriots bad boy Tight End.

The Oakland Raiders’ NFL Combine scouting report on Tight end Rob Gronksowki was spot on. Too bad they traded their pick away and became a terrible franchise, and the Patriots, well, they became the Patriots with a Gronk.

Back in 2010, the @raiders had @gronk labeled as the best Tight End and top all-around player in the draft.

As the 42nd pick approached, which the Raiders owned, they traded it away. That pick fell into the hands of the @patriots and the rest was history. Thanks again Oakland!!!! #NFLDraft

If Gronk does call it quits in the offseason, he will be going out on a high note with the Super Bowl.

In his career, he’ll finish with 521 catches for 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Patriots will be left looking for a new tight end.

The Raiders will be too.
