The DC Defenders opened the XFL’s inaugural season with the league’s first win by defeating the Seattle Dragons 31-19. The first game was an overall success for the Defenders.
There were over 17,000 fans in attendance for the Week 1 game and the ticket prices were higher than some Redskins games this season.

That’s expected to continue at least into Week 2 as tickets are selling for the Defenders next game from $24 to $170 for one ticket.
