Tim Tebow’s season in Triple-A hasn’t gone as planned.  He’s followed up his storybook season in Double-A by struggling mightily.

Despite his struggles, Tebow continues to get at-bats.  The .153 hitter went deep for the second time this season on Friday.

Opposite field bombs are nothing to sneeze at and require a ton of power to pull off.  The former football player has plenty of that.  If Tebow could manage to have a few more balls go over the fence, he might get a shot at the MLB level.

The league doesn’t value the batting average like it used to.   Nothing would be better than Tebow playing for the Mets.
