New York Mets reliever Luis Avilan’s 2019 is off to a rough start.  The left-hander has appeared in 7 games this season and has an ERA of 10.80.

Avilan success off the field isn’t much better.  He sent a message to a Tinder match and complimented her on her smile.  

Avilan’s Tinder match responded to his compliment by trolling him for his “atrocious” ERA.  She first contemplated ruining his morning on Twitter.

A few hours later, she pulled the trigger and sent the message.

It turns out chicks don’t just dig the long ball, they also dig a low earned run average.  Better days are ahead for Avilan.
