NFL training camps are still a few weeks away, not surprisingly Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is already getting some work in.  What might be surprising is who he reportedly was throwing passes too.

According to reports Brady and retired tight end Rob Gronkowski held a private workout at UCLA on Monday.  Gronk, who is in Los Angeles for a celebrity carity basketball game, couldn’t even make it to training camp before catching a few passes.

Via MassLive:

Brady threw to Rob Gronkowski during a private workout Monday on the UCLA campus, a source told MassLive. Gronkowski retired in March after a nine-year career in New England that should one day land him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The former All-Pro tight end is in Los Angeles for the second annual Monster Energy $50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game set to tip off at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Monday night.

This is only going to add fuel to the rumors that Gronk will return to the Patriots at some point during the season.  A Gronk mid-season return wouldn’t surprise us at all.
