Rumors broke early on Friday that there was big news coming out of New England. The news quickly turned into Rob Gronkowski trade rumors.
Those trade rumors might have been true. A report later came out that Tom Brady stopped a potential Gronk trade by threatening to retire.
From multiple sources, here's what I have re: the Gronk rumors. Told Belichick wanted to trade him. Offers on the table w both the Titans and 49ers. He and Robert Kraft had a closed-door meeting to discuss. Tom Brady threatened to retire if the deal went through. Kraft nixed it.

It sounds like there is some real trouble in paradise. It looks like Brady won another battle with Bill Belichick.
First Brady sent backup Jimmy Garappolo packing and now he’s stopped Belichick from sending his favorite target packing.
That means on thing, another Patriots trip to the Super Bowl.
