Tom Brady was close to signing with the New Orleans Saints this offseason prior to signing a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to NFL insider Jason La Canfora, Brady and the Saints were both interested.
Had Brees retired there’s a chance that the Saints would have gone from one Hall of Fame quarterback to another. That would have been insane.
