Trent Williams spoke with the media on Thursday and explained his decision to holdout this off-season.  According to the Redskins Pro Bowl tackle, there are multiple reasons he held out.

Williams wants a new contract and he doesn’t trust Washington’s medical staff.  He revealed that he had cancerous tumor removed from his head.

The tumor that was misdiagnosed by the Redskins medical staff six years ago.  Williams was told by them at the time that the growth was nothing serious.

Despite not having a new contract and still not trusting the medical staff, he ended his holdout and reported to the team.
