The Athletic Kansas City’s podcast, “Time’s Ours” decided it was a good idea to compare Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ stats with Hall of Famer Troy Aikman’s stats.
They then thought it was a good idea to point out on Twitter that Mahomes has already thrown for 36% of Aikman’s career touchdowns in just 8% of the games.

It turns out it wasn’t a good idea. Aikman responded to the tweet and buried the podcast.
