As the talk of Tom Brady playing for a team other than the Patriots heats up, a quarterback who spent his entire career with one team revealed just how close he came to playing for another team.

Former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman says he came very close to signing with the Chargers at the end of his career after he was released by Dallas.

Aikman ended up retiring instead of signing with the Chargers because the general manager at the time signed Doug Flutie instead.
