President Trump was informed of the NFL’s National Anthem policy changes by his good friends at FOX. They were happy about the rule change, as was Trump who said if you don’t stand for the anthem, “maybe you shouldn’t be in the country.”
“You have to stand proudly for the National Anthem. You shouldn’t be playing, you shouldn’t be there. Maybe they shouldn’t be in the country.”
I’m sure that’s going to go over well with people who don’t agree with the new rules. It’s one thing to disagree, it’s another to suggest that people with a different point of view shouldn’t be in the country.
Get ready for a summer of hot National Anthem talk and a fall filled watching the sidelines.
