Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a hip injury during the first half of Saturday’s game. The injury is reportedly similar to the hip injury that ended Bo Jackson’s NFL career.
Hopefully the doctors and medical procedures are a little more advanced than they were back when Jackson suffered his injury. He was flown to the hospital to see Dr. Andrews.
Otherwise Tua could be facing a career ending injury before his career even got started. The injury could also have a profound impact on the College Football Playoffs and next year’s NFL Draft.
