Tyson Fury’s father, John, has responded to a ‘bodybuilder’ who challenged him to a boxing match.

In a video posted on iFL TV, the 55-year-old, known by many as ‘big’ John Fury, did not mention his opponent by name but it appears his rant was aimed towards Micky Theo, a former British bodybuilding champion.

Theo began the exchange by responding to Fury’s claim of being the ‘toughest 54-year-old in the world’ – a quote from John’s call out to UFC president Dana White, where he said he could “smash him with one punch” in a fight.

“I believe I am fitter than you, John.” says Theo in the clip. “I believe I could beat you in a proper boxing match.”

Theo also mentions all the proceeds of a potential boxing match going towards NHS charities.
