The University of Evansville has placed head basketball coach Walter McCarty on administrative leave after the latest report of “unwelcome conduct.”

In an internal letter sent to Evansville staff, school President Chris Pietruszkiewicz, addressed McCarty being placed on administrative leave.  According to the letter, there have been multiple reports since McCarty’s arrival in March of 2018.

Pietruszkiewicz also reveals that McCarty has been counseled on several occasions about his behavior.  And that the latest allegations are being investigated as a possible violation of the school’s Title IX policy.
