The Houston Astros have faced accusations of stealing signs during the postseason in each of the past two seasons. They denied the claims, the MLB “investigated” and found nothing.
Now a report from The Athletic has a confession from former Astros pitcher Mike Fiers, who said that the team used cameras to steal signs during their World Series winning season in 2017.
A video from that season seems to support those claims and now there’s a video breakdown that pretty clearly shows that the Astros were telling hitters what pitches were coming.
