Video of police responding to Dak Prescott’s dog biting his neighbor has been released and it’s intense.  It shows an officer pointing an assault rifle at the quarterback’s dog as it wanders the streets.

Via TMZ Sports:

Police body cam footage shows the aftermath of the attack … when cops arrived on the scene and found the two animals running loose in the streets.

The video is extremely intense … in order to keep the Dallas Cowboys star’s pets at bay, one officer trains his assault rifle on the dogs and yells, “GET BACK!”

Luckily for all parties, Dak’s dogs weren’t aggressive … and when Prescott’s good friend showed up with leashes — they quickly retreated and the situation was diffused.

See the intense video of the cops pulling out an assault rifle on Prescott’s dog below:

The Cowboys QB is really lucky his dogs weren’t shot.  The assault rifle seemed to be a bit much given the situation.  The dog bit a woman on her finger as she was trying to separate two dogs that were fighting.

That doesn’t sound like a situation that requires an assault rifle, but if you have one why not pull it out in a residential area on a dog who bit a woman?
