Former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was in Minnesota on Thursday night as the Redskins took on his former team.  He ran for 76 yards on 14 carries during the 19-9 loss.

That was good enough to make him the NFL’s sixth all-time leading rusher.  He now trails Curtis Martin, Frank Gore, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith.

The Vikings crowd paid their respects by giving Peterson a standing ovation for his latest career accomplishment.
