The death of a man in Minneapolis at the hands of police has sparked outrage across the state of Minnesota and the country. A video of the moments that led up to George Floyd’s death has gone viral.
The video shows a white police officer with his knee on the neck of the 46-year-old black man until he lost consciousness. He later died at the hospital.
The death took place just blocks from U.S. Bank Stadium. On Wednesday, the Vikings issued a strong statement on the death of Floyd.
